Lewis Capaldi Gets Emotional As Fans Finish Song For Him At Glastonbury Festival

June 29, 2023

In a heartwarming and inspiring display of unity, a singer with Tourette Syndrome received overwhelming support from his fans as they stepped in to finish a song when his tics disrupted his performance.

Lewis Capaldi was performing "Someone You Love" this past weekend at the Glastonbury Festival when the singer began to experience symptoms. He tried to push through but the crowd realized what was happening and stepped in to help him.

Just three days later, Capaldi made the announcement on social media that he was taking a break from touring and apologized to all of his fans.

"First of all, thank you to Glastonbury for having me, for singing along when I needed it and for all the amazing messages afterwards," he said.

The 26-year-old first revealed his Tourette syndrome diagnosis in September 2022.

Earlier this year, fans helped him finish "Someone You Love" on tour in Frankfurt. The video went viral on TikTok with over 67 million views.
