Archivist Thought He Found Lost WWII Footage From 1942. He Found Puppies Instead

The long forgotten "Battle of the Bark".
An archivist found a long forgotten 8mm film reel in an old metal box, marked "Philippines 1942".
Thinking it was lost WWII footage, he sent it in to be restored/digitized.
When he got the footage back, he found puppies instead.
While working in our archives, I found an old metal box. Inside was a long-forgotten roll of silent 8mm film marked "The Philippines 1942"
