It was a powerful moment during recruit class 22-2's academy graduation in Phoenix, Arizona.
Phoenix Police Department Officer Tyler Moldovan pinned a badge on his brother Matt during his graduation from firefighter training.
Officer Moldovan continues to recover after he was shot eight times, including once in the head, in the line of duty in December of 2021. He spent a month on life support before moving to a rehabilitation facility. He returned home to continue his recovery in June 2022. His family has been documenting his journey on Facebook.
