Fishermen Rescue Man In Ocean Who Had Been Treading Water For 24 Hours
November 28, 2022
A fisherman in Hawaii documented the rescue of a man who was lost at sea for nearly 24 hours.
"We found this guy over 3 miles off shore, he had been treading water for almost 24 hours on one of the roughest windiest days of the year," Ryan said.
After the video went viral, Ryan deleted the video from his channel because it was "affecting his work situation".
He included a link to a GoFundMe page, set up by the man's sister.
"Hi! My name is Madison and my brother Mason was in an ocean accident in Hawaii that left him fighting for his life for over 24 hours at sea! But God was with him and he was rescued by a fishing boat! They were all calling him Miracle Mason," Madison wrote.
"Sadly after the accident and trauma of being in the ocean he has completely stopped functioning. In and out of mental hospitals and nothing seems to be helping him.. barely moves, doesn’t speak, and having to force him to eat.
Then another miracle happened and this guy Ryan who was on the boat the day of the rescue posted to tiktok and it went viral! My brother's rescue hit 22 million views! Which made my heart so happy knowing that 22 million people were now rooting for my brother and I truly believe in the power of prayer!"
@madisonklivelifephilly When my brother was reacued it made us believe in miracles and were hoping for one more! We have set up a gofund me in hopes of getting Mason into the right program that he needs to get better and tell his story! If you can’t donate we understand but if you have any advice or knowledge on trauma like this please leave comments or message me!! And please keep my brother in your prayers!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ @ryannncarroll.fishing ♬ original sound - MadisonKlivelifephilly
