This 15-Year-Old Just Wrote A Hit Christmas Song

December 15, 2020

A 15-year-old from Meadowbrook, Pennsylvania, who had under 100 followers a week ago has written a catchy song, "Lonely Christmas" that many  people are saying will be a holiday classic.

Wallis Schriver says she wrote the song to express her feelings about the pandemic while remaining optimistic that "eveything is going to be okay."

Wallis released the debut single on Dec. 3 without realizing she had a hit on her hands.

"I expected some of my friends to maybe watch it and say 'Hey, good job on your song!' but I really didn't expect this," she said.
