A Horse Was Abandoned And Left For Dead... And Look At Her Now
October 9, 2014
When rescuers found her, Polly was so underweight she had zero body fat, her ribs poked through, and they described her as the thinnest living horse they had ever seen. She was barely alive.

She had worms, conjunctivitis and skin disease.
Her road to recovery was a long one, and far from simple. Those looking after her feared she was so weak any treatment would kill her.

But after six months of constant care, she made a miraculous recovery.

She's a real mare now, healthy enough to be released into a field at the center with other rescued horses.
Just look how beautiful!
