“A generous Taylor resident has paid off all current negative lunch balances across TISD! We’re so grateful for this amazing act of kindness. 🦆💚”

District officials said they won’t be revealing how much debt was cleared or how many students were affected, but the donor asked to remain anonymous.

TISD also took the opportunity to remind families that every child is served a meal, no matter their balance or meal status.
