Restaurant Owners Surprise Young Worker With New Bike After His Was Stolen

Sometimes a bad day can turn around in the most unexpected way — and that’s exactly what happened for one young man in Rochester, Minnesota.

While he was at work, his bike was stolen, leaving him without a way to get home. But the folks at Townies, the local restaurant where he works, weren’t about to let that be the end of the story.
The Townies family teamed up, bought him a brand-new bike, and surprised him with it right outside.
A video posted by Tim Nela shows the emotional moment he was presented with the bike — completely overwhelmed, fighting back tears, and struggling to believe such kindness was real. Guests at the restaurant even chipped in, handing him extra money to help out.
“Thank you all for helping turn a tough situation into something hopeful—it reminds us that there are still good people out there,” the post read.
The heartwarming video has since racked up thousands of comments online, with people saying it restored their faith in humanity.
