Whether he’s helping at a summer arts camp, choreographing school plays, assisting with show choir auditions, serving up meals at Beagle Bagel, or attending college, Omari is constantly on the move, making Madison a brighter place.
But when an accident left his car undriveable, his friends and neighbors knew it was time to give back. Without his knowledge, the community sprang into action, sharing his story in local Facebook groups and organizing a heartfelt effort to find him a new set of wheels.
Through the generosity of many, a reliable used car was purchased—all as a surprise. When the moment finally arrived and Omari was presented with the keys, emotions ran high.
