While working at her booth, a woman bought a bouquet of flowers. After paying for them he handed the flowers back and said, "Please give these to someone who might need them today."
Worthington was moved by the gesture from the stranger.
"And after she walked away, I turned around to the vendor next to me, and she heard the whole thing too, and we were both just like to the floor — this is so sweet," Worthington said. "I was like, 'How do I know who to give these flowers to?' and she said, 'You'll know'."
Later in the day, as Worthington was wrapping up, a woman approached her booth, asking if she could make flowers for a funeral. The woman explained that her sister-in-law had recently passed away from breast cancer.
In that moment, Worthington felt an emotional connection. "It was like a light bulb clicked," she said. "I realized she was the one I'd been waiting for all day to give these flowers to."
This moving story has since captured the hearts of many online, a beautiful reminder of how kindness and compassion can spread in unexpected ways.
