Today's good news story comes from Soddy Daisy, Tennessee.

On September 5, Cameron was at David Killian's home in what seemed like a routine maintenance visit. "I do hundreds of these a month," Cameron explained. "It was no different. I really wasn't even supposed to be here."
Originally scheduled to visit on a different day, the appointment had been rescheduled to that Thursday. David and his wife, Marilyn, are convinced that this change happened for a reason.
That day, David had been mowing his neighbor's yard while Marilyn was volunteering at church. Cameron was supposed to arrive later in the afternoon but called ahead to say he was running early. Just moments after that call, David, feeling dizzy and overheated, collapsed on a backyard swing.
Cameron, noticing David's unresponsive state, rushed to his side. "I was not breathing," David recalled. "I was making a gurgling sound. And he realized what was going on, and he grabbed me in a bear hug — and he's maybe half my size — but he grabbed me in a bear hug and got me on the ground and called 911."
Despite not knowing CPR, Cameron quickly followed the 911 operator's instructions, performing chest compressions for 11 long minutes until paramedics arrived. He worried that his efforts had failed, as David remained unresponsive. However, on the way to the hospital, David miraculously revived.
Once at the hospital, David's recovery astounded the medical staff. Nurses repeatedly checked on him, marveling at his resilience.
"They told me, ‘You have no idea how rare you are,'" David said. "‘We have never seen anyone come back the way you did.'"
In just two hours, David was able to get up and walk on his own. Throughout his three-day hospital stay, one call stood out to him — a call from Cameron, who was still shaken by the entire experience.
"He couldn't wait to hug David," Marilyn shared. The couple invited Cameron to dinner the night David was discharged, marking the beginning of a special bond. Cameron even joined them at church, an experience that deeply moved David.
Reflecting on the incredible events of that day, David said, "I think God stopped my heart to open up Cameron's heart, because this past Sunday, Cameron went to church with us."
