"I know buddy - I'm gonna get you out of there," Sgt. Bordin assured the anxious dog before breaking a window to free her.

The dog, showing clear signs of heat distress, eagerly drank an entire liter of water once rescued. Afterward, she was taken for a thorough checkup to ensure her well-being. While the dog's owner was located, she remains in the custody of animal services as the investigation continues.
