Delivery Driver Leaves Note In Customer's Order, Now The Internet Is Paying For His Wedding

In a heartwarming turn of events, an UberEats driver’s simple gesture has led to an outpouring of generosity from people all over the world.

Paul Slobodzian, who drives for UberEats as a side hustle in Phoenix, Arizona, recently delivered a Chipotle order to Erica Hernandez. Along with her food, Hernandez found a handwritten note from Slobodzian, encouraging her to tip to help fund his upcoming wedding to his fiancée, Aly Perkins.
In his note, Slobodzian explained that he was delivering food on the side to give his fiancée the wedding she deserves. Touched by his sincerity and determination, Hernandez shared the note on TikTok. The video quickly went viral, garnering millions of views and capturing the hearts of many.

People from across the globe began donating to Paul and Aly’s wedding fund, moved by the couple’s story and Paul’s dedication. The overwhelming response has provided them with more than enough to cover their wedding expenses, allowing Paul to stop his extra delivery shifts.
"[My phone] hasn’t stopped since Friday afternoon," Slobodzian said, amazed by the support they’ve received. "It’s been thousands of messages of people supporting us."
