Motorists Stop Traffic On Busy Interstate To Save Family Of Ducks

Traffic on Interstate 405 in Washington State came to a complete halt Monday morning as a family of fowl tried to make a waddle for it across the busy freeway.

The babies were on the northbound lanes of the highway according to a tweet from the Washington State Department of Transportation.
Video shows motorists trying to herd the ducklings while Washington State Patrol troopers were on the way.

The incident caused about a 10-minute backup. WSDOT later tweeted that the duck family had been safely removed from the road.
