A sperm whale washed up on a beach in Ningbo city, East China, on April 19, 2022.
It was found about 740 meters from the coastline, reports said.

Local firefighters and volunteers spent 20 hours keeping the whale alive. Rescuers poured water on the 65-foot whale while also digging a trench pool filled with seawater.
When the tide reached its highest, authorities used five boats to haul the massive whale back to sea.
