November 20, 2021

The Wichita State University men's basketball team defeated Tarleton State 65-51 on Tuesday night.

After the game, one player stuck around to help clean up the stadium.

Dexter Dennis scored 13 points to help lead his team to victory. Instead of going home, he stayed after the game to help staff at Koch Arena clean up trash.

The video was shared on Twitter by Taylor Eldridge, who covers Wichita State athletics for The Wichita Eagle newspaper.

"Wasn't in trouble or anything. Didn't have to. He just wanted to help out the cleaning crew," Eldridge wrote in a follow-up tweet.
