A Georgia Man Is Changing People's Lives $1 At A Time
September 14, 2021
A man in LaGrange, Georgia, is changing the lives of people in need, one dollar at a time.

Anthony Talley
Anthony Talley started a $1 Thursdays program in his community where every week he finds a person in need and raises money for them.
His first fundraiser, he ended up collecting $120 for a friend who was going through hard times.
"Most people think that's not a lot. But when you're down bad, that could be everything," Talley said.
Next he raised $1,400 for a man battling lupus. Then $2,220 for a local barber battling COVID-19. And then $8,000 for a man whose family's home burned down.
So far, Talley's $1 Thursdays have raised more than $20,000 for people in need throughout his community.
You can follow his $1 journey on Facebook where you can also make a donation.
