Strangers Unite To Save People From A Building On Fire In Sweden
July 6, 2021
Complete strangers gathered together to save people from a burning apartment building.
This happened in Gothenburg, Sweden, on Sunday evening.
Police are currently investigating if this incident is arson. They have labeled the investigation as such due to the nature of how the fire began. The fire started in a pile of trash that was on the inside of the building near the entrance and the fire spread through the stairwell to an apartment.
Three people are currently being treated at a hospital and 26 were treated on-scene.
Daniel Gillesén, chief fire warden, said "It's amazing to see this kind of involvement and to act when other people are in danger, I am proud to see that the residents acted the way they did."
