Canada Post Is Sending Every Canadian Household A Postcard To Send To A Loved One For Free
March 9, 2021
Canada Post is giving free prepaid postcards to every Canadian household to help citizens stay connected during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Canada Post will deliver approximately 13.5 million postcards, one to every residential address in the country.
Recipients can send their postcard to anyone they want, anywhere in Canada, for free.
"Meaningful connection is vital for our emotional health, sense of community and overall well-being," says Doug Ettinger, President and CEO of Canada Post. "Canada Post wants everyone to stay safe, but also stay in touch with the people who matter to them."
The postal service in Ireland has also helped their citizens stay connected with free postcards during these difficult times.
In January, An Post delivered prepaid postcards to homes, homeless hubs, nursing/care homes and prisons nationwide.
"As we continue to support each other by staying apart and staying home, it's the right time to send love to family and friends, particularly those who are living alone," said Julie Gill, An Post's commercial marketing director.
