The homeowner set out a bucket of snacks on their front porch with encouraging words for delivery workers.
"I work 12 hours a day, sometimes I don't get a break," DoorDash driver Brenton Swart told KAKE. "It was pretty amazing, just walking up and dropping (the delivery) off and picking up snacks."
He felt the need to continue the goodwill, and decided to by a $25 gift card from Walmart to return to the homeowner.
"There's no way to describe it," said Swart. "I hope even that the smallest thing will actually make people realize that there's people out there who really do care."
