Missing Boater Found Clinging To Capsized Boat

A boater who had been missing for days was found clinging to his capsized boat off of Florida's Atlantic coastline.

Stuart Bee, 62, was reported missing last Friday after her failed to return to port.
On Sunday, a crew onboard a 225-foot container ship spotted Bee clinging to the bow of his 32-foot boat about 86 miles off of Cape Canaveral.

The container ship, the Angeles, pulled Bee from the water after throwing him a buoy, and then notified the Coast Guard, which immediately deployed a crew to retrieve him.

"Saving lives at sea is our highest calling," said Capt Mark Vlaun, commanding officer of the Coast Guard Sector Jacksonville.
"This is a truly incredible outcome that demonstrates the bond among all mariners and our community," he added.
