Dentist Gives Free Smile Makeovers To The Poor And Shares Their Transformations

Brazilian dentist Felipe Rossi travels the world to bring joyful smiles back to some of the poorest people on the planet.

Rossi, 38, formed an NGO called Por1sorriso to provide free dental care for low-income people in need of root canals, cleaning, restoration work and more.

To pay for the costs, Por1sorriso accepts donations through the 'Smile Solidarity' program and hosts regular fund-raising events.

"I didn't do dentistry to take care of teeth, but to take care of people," Rossi said.

"Awakening smiles, without business relationship, just for love, connects us with something bigger. One day, [a] smile will be for everyone and tears will fall with joy, just for being able to smile."
