Dropkick Murphys Perform Special Show For 3-Year-Old Cancer Patient
August 27, 2019
The Dropkick Murphys performed a private show for a three-year-old boy named Quinn who is battling cancer and can't leave his home.

Quinn was diagnosed with a brain tumor in February. He has been stuck in his house in Weymouth, MA, since June, forced to stay indoors after three rounds of chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant depleted his immune system.
When the Dropkick Murphey's heard about Quinn's story, they made a pit stop to his home to perform a private show.
"A few of the guys were able to sneak over and play some songs for an awesome little fella named Quinn yesterday," the band wrote on Instagram. "Quinn has a wonderful family and they are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time."
Quinn's family also started a Facebook page to update friends and family about his progress, and to thank everyone for their support to bring awareness about Medulloblastoma, the type of tumor that doctors removed from Quinn's brain stem.
