Ring Camera Shows Dogs Running For Help After Owner Collapses
February 7, 2019
Surveillance footage shows the moment two dogs ran out of their St. Augustine owner's home to find help for her as she suffered a stroke.

Maureen Hatcher collapsed in her home from a clot that cut off blood flow to the right side of her brain.
The clock was ticking.
"I remember Sadie coming in and I said 'Mommy needs help'," recalled Hatcher. "And then they were gone."
The camera on the front door caught the moment the loyal labs ran across the street to alert a neighbor.
The neighbor followed the dogs to the house, found Hatcher on the floor and called 911.
Hatcher was taken to a stroke center in Jacksonville and has made a full recovery.
Making this story even more remarkable is that Hatcher says her front door always locks automatically. So she believes by pure chance the door was slightly ajared so her dogs could get out.
