Friday marked a wonderful achievement for the Kansas Humane Society.
The shelter was able to find homes for all 140 pets they had available during a Black Friday event in which people were allowed to adopt any black animal for free.

"Everything that was available for adoption, found a new home," CEO Mark Eby said.
"Thank you to everyone who helped make today such an amazing success! 140 animals found loving homes. 53 cats, 81 dogs and 6 small mammals. HUGE thanks to @ridehomehappy and the @ASPCA for allowing us to host this event!" the shelter wrote on Twitter.
