Boy Who Sits Outside Hoping Trucks Will Blow Their Horns Gets The Surprise Of A Lifetime
August 25, 2018
Dakota "Bubba" Cadd loves to sit in his back yard along Wisconsin Highway 26, hoping truckers will blow their horns for him.
Last Saturday, those truckers went the extra mile to surprise him for his birthday.

Bubba has cerebral palsy and Dandy-Walker syndrome, a congenital brain malformation.
One day while sitting out back pumping his arm, his mother Peggy noticed a bag on the ground that someone had thrown over their fence.
Inside the bag was a toy semi-truck.
Peggy posted about the act of kindness on Facebook hoping to find and thank the mystery gifter. After the post went viral, more truck drivers who heard about Bubba wanted to come out and support him, too.
Hundreds of semi-trucks and more than a thousand people came out to celebrate Bubba's 16th birthday.
