Leo Tapia risked his life to save horses from wildfires
Stables containing hundreds of horses at the San Luis Rey Downs Training Facility in San Diego suddenly caught fire Thursday afternoon from the nearby Lilac Fire that has wreaked havoc on Southern California this week.
Workers frantically tried to save the horses by setting them free from their stables.
Leo Tapia recorded a dramatic Facebook Live video as he and others risked their lives to help release the horses.
