India's Rare 'Cyclops' Baby Goat Is Beating The Odds

A baby goat with one enlarged eye has been born in Assam, India. The kid was born on Wednesday May 10th, and has baffled local villagers.
Despite vets predicting it would die within days, the goat continues to beat the odds.

The goat's condition, called cyclopia, is characterized by the developing brain’s failure to separate into two hemispheres. As a result, the skull only forms a single eye socket.
A large number of people have been visiting the village to see the goat.
According to the villagers, the goat is said to be sacred, with some locals beginning to worship the new arrival.
