Neighbors Are Suing This Man For His Garage. The Internet Found Out And Is Saving Him
October 14, 2016
For six years, three property owners on Martin Farm Road have waged a battle against Charles Williams over his four-car garage that they say he is using to run a car repair business.
Williams claims it's only a hobby and is not running an illegal business. He estimates he has spent about $30,000 defending himself, a number that will rise after his lawyer finishes filing briefs, responses and any other court-required action.
Two neighbors have spent a total of $47,000 out of their own pockets to sue Williams.
The video (above) has been shared on various social media platforms over the past few days.
As of Friday afternoon, more than $45,000 has been raised for Williams' legal fees on GoFundMe.
