Golf Fan Heckles Rory McIlroy For Missing Putt, Walks Out On The Green And Sinks It
September 30, 2016
Here's your feel good video of the day.
A heckler was challenged to put his putter where his mouth was after saying he could putt better than Rory McIlroy during the Ryder Cup.
McIlroy and teammate Andy Sullivan were struggling with a tricky downhill putt on the 8th green. Before the players left the hole, Rory and company challenged the confident fan to give it a go, with golfer Justin Rose sweetening the pot by dropping a $100 bill next to the ball on the green.
The heckler, who has been identified as David Johnson from North Dakota, gladly stepped onto the green, hushed the crowd ... and nailed the 12-footer.
