August 1, 2016
Incredible video footage has surfaced of several men forming a human chain to rescue a woman from her car floating down Main Street in Ellicott City, Maryland, on July 30th during a devastating flood.
"My wife and I are business owners on Main St," David Dempster, the man who shared the video, said. "I was standing at the entry of my shop at the top of the human chain holding the next man's hand and filming with the other. The man who got washed away was incredibly lucky."
The woman being rescued in the video, as well as the two women holding on to the car that was floating away, all survived.
