A Single Dad With No Clue How To Do A Ponytail Took A Cosmetology Lesson For His Daughter

It's still early but this father is making a strong case for "Dad of the Year."
Greg Wickherst's 3 year-old daughter spends most of her time living with him after he and her mother split over a year ago.

Greg's been shaving his head his entire life so "hair styling" is a bit foreign to him.
"I didn't want to be the dad that just didn't know how to do my daughter's hair," Greg told BuzzFeed.
That's when Greg decided to visit the cosmetology department at IntelliTec College.

He spent a few hours working on mannequins with help from a specialist, and now, he's a pro!
He loves to show off his creations - which Izzy loves, too - on Facebook.

Greg says his best advice to other single fathers is just to enjoy every minute of it.
"The good and the not-so-good. Even the blowout diapers, the tantrums in the store, and the late night, up sick, catching-throw-up-in-your-bare-hands nights. Because it doesn't last forever."
