4 Year-Old Saves Her Pregnant Mother's Life And Becomes A Big Sister

January 26, 2015

4 year-old Calise Manning is being called a hero for helping her pregnant mother and calling 911 operators in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

"I got up and that's all I can remember," said mother Centerria Manning. "I woke up and my daughter Calise, was standing over me and she was on the phone with 911."

In a nearly 7 1/2 minute call, Calise alerts dispatchers that her mom is having a seizure, and gives them the address to her home.

"She was like, 'I told you I was gonna take care of you if something happened,'" Centerria said.

Centerria was taken to the hospital where her healthy baby brother, TJ Manning, was born Friday morning.

The 911 dispatcher who took the call said that she's recommending Calise get an award for being calm in a scary situation.
