My new room even has its own bathroom, I’ve never had my own personal bathroom before!

This happened about a month ago. I took these photos after moving in. I wanted to share this here because it’s still huge for me. I was homeless. I've posted about how I ended up homeless elsewhere. I won’t go into the details here because I want to be upbeat.

I thought I’d be homeless for much longer. It was crippling me.

A lady I had become friendly with at work asked me if everything was alright at home. I wasn’t sleeping well and it showed. It just came out of me. I told her my situation, how I didn't have a home.

And guess what? Without hesitating, she offered me a room in her home! She was looking for a new roommate anyways. And she told me to just start paying rent when I can!

I wasn't expecting her to say that! I feel so unbelievably lucky. She is so nice! She even made dinner and took me to the storage unit to pick up my belongings. And this room has its own bathroom!
