Sometimes we all need a pick-me-up.

One thing I like to do, when I’m out taking a walk, is to challenge myself to look for three things in my environment: something surprising, something beautiful, and something kind.

It gives me a sense of accomplishment once I check off everything on the list.

A friend of mine always looks for birds wherever she goes.
