Gave My Food To A High School Kid Who Didn't Have Any
By A Friend • September 30, 2025
It's been a few years now but one day I visited a Taco Bell around 4 pm or so. I had eaten what I could of my meal and had a few extra food item I would normally have shared with my own teen but he wasn't with me.
I had noticed a small group of teen boys and a few of them had food but one boy didn't. He was kind of glancing at the others then checking his phone.
My take was, they'd hang out after school and get snacks but this kid didn't have money to get food. And I know kids are always ravenous after school!
So I walked quietly over and said, I am full and can't eat these, would you like them? He lit up like a tree, and grabbed the food and dug in. He was happy and so was my heart.
