Today I went to return my Switch Lite at GameStop and had the money put back into my debit card.

I wasn't sure how quickly the money would appear in my account, but wanted a soda and an ice cream cone so I went to the little shop in the food court.

Well, the guy tried my card three times and it didn't go through, and I felt so down already because of money issues and having to take back my Switch, and when I told the man I didn't have any other way to pay for the ice cream and soda, he just gave me a wide smile and told me not to worry that he would pay for it himself.

I was so touched and promised to pay him back as soon as I can. Sometimes people are just lovely and they make me glad to be alive.
