I Started Reading Out Loud To My Boyfriend Before Bed

I wasn’t really sure if he would like it or not at first. I was worried he was just humoring me when he said he wanted me to keep doing it.

But tonight, he wasn’t feeling well and he fell into a restless sleep. I stopped reading and he woke up to ask me to keep going. I laughed and said “but you’re sleeping!”

He said it didn’t matter, he just liked listening to my voice.
