Earlier today at work I saw someone’s car in the back parking lot. He asked for some help starting up his car so I did.

While we were waiting I asked if he needed some water. He told me he was stuck there for about a day so he accepted quite thankfully.

I don’t know what came over me but I asked if he also needed something to eat too and I saw him tear up a bit as he accepted my two ham sandwiches with cheese.

I patted him on the back and just said it was going to be alright. It looked like he needed to hear that the most.

We got his car to work again and he also patted my back as he thanked me. I hope he’s doing alright.
