A Kindness Story That Happened To Me Yesterday

Here's a kindness story that happened to me yesterday:
I was at a small grocery store, about to step up to the cashier when another lady was about to as well. It's open plan area, no rows of registers. We smiled, I joked that I'd better let her go first or she'd whack me with the bag of potatoes she was carrying, and she laughed and stepped up to the register.
She then handed me a little frog toy she had crocheted, said it was a thank you gesture.
I was surprised, she explained that she has lung cancer and makes lots of different little creatures to help her deal with her situation. She was such a sweet person, so kind. I was truly touched by her open-hearted gesture.
I've included a photo of the little frog.
