A Cinnamon Scroll
By Janis • February 28, 2025
While travelling from Townsville to Rockhampton this week we stopped as we always do at Prossy Pies in Proserpine in Whitsunday area to have a pie for my husband and a cinnamon scroll for myself with our coffee only to be told the last one had just been sold to Mrs. Porter sitting over there.
I told the girl that she had told us that the last one had just been sold when we went through on Friday. So on our way to our seat I stopped and told the lady to enjoy her scroll as I had missed out and that they were the best ever.
While having our coffee she came over with a quarter of her scroll and said it was for me in the interest of world peace to which we both had a laugh.
You know thro all the horrible stuff that goes on in the world there are really good people out there and this lady in Proserpine is one of them. And yes my share of the scroll was just soooo delicious.
