I Was So Stunned That I Cried

I was shopping at Giant on a recent weekday afternoon.

At the checkout, a man walked up to me and said, “Hi, I’m Steve.” He then proceeded to tap his card and pay for my groceries.

There are generous people out there. I was so stunned that I cried. Thank you so very, very much, Steve. What a kind thing to do. I was in shock. I was standing outside crying, because no one has ever done that for me before — ever!
