Keep Giving With Your Heart
By Kim • November 29, 2024
I read this some years ago and put it in the memory bank for future use.
It said that a mother was short on her grocery money and had to put things back and her child was upset as it was the special extras that had to go back. The person said they bent down (with $20 in hand) and said to the mum....oops it looks like this fell out of your purse onto the floor and gave her a wink.
I've been waiting for this opportunity to do the same for some years now and finally the opportunity arose recently. It was beautifully received by the person and the message of kindness was understood.
I'm not commenting on here for likes or well done comments....I'm writing it so others may read it and if in a position to do so can use this as an example of maintaining someone's dignity at an often embarrassing time at the checkout. Especially at Christmas.
Keep giving with your heart.
