Put 40 Dollars On Pump 3

Some dude filled my gas tank once. Years ago.

Apparently my card got declined cause it was negative (a bill went through) and the guy behind me asked which pump I was on and I told him pump 3.

He said "put 40 dollars on pump 3."

I'm in disbelief like this didn't just happen and I asked the dude "are you sure" and he says "yes. Just pay it forward."

I felt like "da*n there are good and empathetic people after all."

I'm just a dude from the hood and I kinda look like I'm from the streets so I was surprised to say the least.

Never had or seen stuff like that much.
