I would love to share about the great generosity of spirit of my friend Ellie.

I’m a volunteer with Make-a-Wish. I was 1 of 2 wish granters for a “rush wish”, which means the child’s health is declining rapidly. My friend Ellie asked if she could crochet something. I told her that the kid and family LOVED Shel Silverstein…

I thought she might crochet one thing, but she arrived at my house with all of these super magical creations, based on select poems!!

The wish family was completely blown away, and I have been so touched by the amount of time and thought she put into these gifts for people that she will never even meet.
