My Partner And I Flew On Christmas Day To See My Family

By megan • December 30, 2022

My partner and I flew on Christmas Day to Sydney to see my family for lunch. It was just a day trip so it was going to be a long day as our place and mum’s place are about an hour from the airport.

We decided to take chocolates with us for the airport staff, airline lounge staff, and flight crew to say thank you for giving up your Christmas Day to work. I hadn’t stopped to think about the impact it would have as I was genuinely appreciative - every person we gave a little gift to were over the moon (one even cried).

It’s true a little bit of kindness goes a long way to making someone’s day.
