My doggo Gemma has days left, her kidneys are failed. So we're doing her favourite things like doing to parks, local shops to sniff things. But we are extremely slow.

A lady stopped by and said "aww so sweet. How old?" I said we don't know, she's a rescue, but possibly 16, she only has a few days. The lady told me her dog is being put down this next week.

Then she gave me biggest, warmest hug.

I don't cope with people being overly emotional and sympathetic at me (ew). The hug was perfect. Except THEN I got teary.

I felt random kindness today.
