A Handkerchief
By Joy • January 17, 2022
This was a long time ago but I was working in a department store and I found a handkerchief (long time ago).
It was tied in a knot with money wrapped in it.
I took it to lost and found and it turned out it was some young girl's Christmas money to buy presents. I was getting married in January and when they told the girl that I had returned it she went off and bought me a small blue handkerchief to have on my wedding day to say thank you.
I still have it 45 years later.
