Shout out to my ex husband. It was our son's 20th birthday recently and he came over for dinner and a board game.

We bought some takeaway as it was my son's favourite.

Yesterday (my birthday) I noticed $100 in my account from my ex husband. I wondered if he meant it to go to my son.

I messaged him to ask and he said "no that's for dinner and the rest is for you, buy a present, a cake, whatever."

Awwww. We might not have worked out as a young couple but we managed to salvage a friendship. He is good people.
