I Paid For The Persons Order Behind Me

I paid for the persons order behind me in the drive-through line at Starbucks but asked the barista to tell them it’s okay not to keep it going and just let a good thing be.
It was my first time paying for another order. I’m sure it’s fun for the baristas to ask people if they want to “keep it going” but in a way that defeats the purpose.
When you’re the recipient of an act of kindness you shouldn’t immediately feel obligated to pass it on.
You should just be great full.
Then pass that feeling on when the times right in your every day life.
